| In 2001 Martin Pugh burst onto the Melbourne art scene with his first solo exhibition, 'Tiki Obscure' - an outpouring of sheer tiki emotion and Pacific pop culture. Numerous shows and tubes of colour later Pugh's signature toothy tiki grins have reinvented themselves as sculptures for the bar or garden. The art is lively, tribal, comic and embraces the spirit of tiki. |
